Our Team

Hetaf, born and raised in Richmond, VA, graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Communications. She has extensive experience in fundraising and conference services. Hetaf founded Aventum over 5 years ago after serving as the Director of Corporate & PAC Progams at the National Republican Congressional Committee during the 2002 Election Cycle. She founded Aventum with the vision of creating a fundraising and events firm that truly cared about its clientele and strived to make each event personal and original. As President of Aventum her priority is providing her clients with the best service possible through her personal management of conferences, charity events, fundraising events and campaigns; as well as development and implementation of new fundraising initiatives.

Shira Rawlinson received a B.A. degree in American Studies emphasizing in Communications and Public Relations from the University of California, Davis. During college, she worked as press aide for the CA Republican Party and interned for a Member of the British Parliament. After graduation, Shira became Communications Director for the Republican Party of New Mexico. She helped the State Party gain statewide and national media attention by acting as the primary spokesperson while the 2008 Presidential candidates focused heavily on New Mexico's 5 electoral votes. Shira recently finished a stint as the youngest Press Secretary for the New Mexico Republican Caucus during the 2009 legislative session.
