Our Team
Hetaf, born and raised in Richmond, VA, graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Communications. She has extensive experience in fundraising and conference services. Hetaf founded Aventum over 5 years ago after serving as the Director of Corporate & PAC Progams at the National Republican Congressional Committee during the 2002 Election Cycle. She founded Aventum with the vision of creating a fundraising and events firm that truly cared about its clientele and strived to make each event personal and original. As President of Aventum her priority is providing her clients with the best service possible through her personal management of conferences, charity events, fundraising events and campaigns; as well as development and implementation of new fundraising initiatives.
Natalie, born and raised in Athens, GA, graduated cum laude from the University of Alabama with a degree in Hospitality Management. She has over eight years of experience with event management and conferences services. She most recently worked as Catering Sales Manager at The Westin Grand Hotel, where she specialized in executive conferences, weddings, and social events. During her time at the Westin Grand, she was nominated for Top Catering Sales Manager for Starwood Hotels and Resorts. Prior to working at the Westin, Natalie worked at the prestigious Sulgrave Club, in Dupont Circle, as the Banquet and Catering Manager. She has taken her knowledge of planning, design, and budget management and incorporated that into her Director position with Aventum, where she oversees and manages all fundraising, non-profit and corporate events.
Raised in Ramsey, NJ, Susan is a graduate of George Washington University with a degree in International Affairs. She has been with Aventum since January 2006 in various capacities. Susan has experience managing a broad range of events including: fundraising events for political clients, conferences, fly-ins, and retreats, as well as coordinating charity golf tournaments. In addition, she assists with all fundraising efforts. Her expertise and background in managing logistical details as well coordinating communications lends itself to effectively overseeing all types of events.
